Nuovi sistemi di diagnosi veloce e tecniche a basso impatto ecotossicologico per contenere fenomeni di resistenza di patogeni, fitofagi e malerbe (RESISTI)

The project aims to develop and validate innovative molecular diagnostic tools (LAMP = Loop-mediated isothermal amplification, ddPCR = Droplet Digital PCR) to early identify resistant weeds, insects and pathogens, considering the main harmful organisms of the crops of the Emilia Romagna region.
More sustainable alternative management strategies will also be validated in order to reduce the use of chemical products and consequently lowering the risk of resistance onset. The innovative tools and systems developed during the project will allow the development of specific management strategies and will be the subject of demonstration days to allow to all stakeholders to appreciate the tools that can help to improve pest management and to limit the onset of resistance.
