Curriculum Vitae
I graduated in plant biotechnology at the University of Turin, I spend a period abroad at the University of Liege for my MS thesis. There I worked on fusarium wilt disease in banana (with the Sukali Ndizi varity), studying the endophytic root microbiome with NG sequencing techniques to identify BCAs that could be used against the disease development.
Afterward I worked at CREA-OF (Consiglio per la Ricerca in Agricoltura e l’Analisi dell’Economia Agraria, Centro di Ricerca in Orticoltura e Florovivaismo) where I conducted several studies on edible flowers, in particular the way they can be used in gastronomic recipes, after controlled drying procedures. Furtermore I gained experience with in vitro propagation of flowering and aromatic species as well as horticultural ones.
