How to reach Bari Unit

Bari Unit is housed within the Research Area of the CNR of Bari.

BY TRAIN: The Research Area is about 1 km from the central station. It can be reached on foot.
From the central station (Piazza A. Moro) exit onto Via Capruzzi, using one of the pedestrian underpasses. Go left, for about 400 meters. At the intersection with Via G. Amendola, turn right and continue straight until you reach the Agip service station, opposite is the headquarters of the Research Area.

Alternatively, use the AMTAB public transport (www.amtab.it).
From the central station take bus n. 22 towards “Mungivacca station”. Get off at the Amendola-Ulpiani stop, right in front of the Research Area headquarters.

BY CAR: from the ring road 16Bis (direction NORTH or SOUTH): exit 13A SAN PASQUALE and take via Amendola for about 2 km. After the entrance to the University Campus (on your left), about 100 meters away you will find the Research Area headquarters (on your right).
From the A14 motorway (from the NORTH): the BARI NORD exit and follow the signs for BARI TANGENZIALE towards BRINDISI, then follow the previous directions.
From the A14 motorway (from the SOUTH): the BARI SUD exit and follow the signs for BARI TANGENZIALE towards BRINDISI, then follow the previous directions.

BY PLANE: The Bari-Palese “Karol Wojtyla” airport (www.aeroportidipuglia.it) is about 15 km away and is directly connected to the central railway station (piazza A. Moro) by shuttle bus (www.autoservizitempesta.it) and trains of Ferrotramviaria SpA (www.ferrovienordbarese.it).
Alternatively from the airport it is possible to reach the central station by city bus line n. 16 (www.amtab.it).
