I’m graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Naples Federico II with a thesis in botany, carried out at the Department of Biology, entitled “Local adaptations to biotic and abiotic factors in a cliff species”, grade 110 cum laude. During my study, I mainly learned to collect, analyze and represent biological data. I am currently a scholarship holder at the IPSP of Portici, the aim of my research is to investigate the main causes of damage in Campania chestnut groves with particular attention to Gnomoniopsis castaneae and therefore to identify new effective and sustainable methodologies in the control and containment of the main chestnut pathologies.
