“Use of native mycological resources as biocontrol agents of forest pathogens and to improve resilience of forests to climate change”

 

On 16 June 2022 at the Sala Capitolare of the Abbey of Vallombrosa (Reggello, Florence) will be held a Technical Seminar organized by IPSP-CNR as part of the project LIFE MycoRestore LIFE18/CCA/001110 entitled “Use of Local Mycological Resources as Biocontrol Agents of Forest Pathogens and Resilience of Forests to Climate Change“.

There will be authoritative colleagues as speakers from various parts of Italy: from the University of Florence, Pisa, Turin and also from the Universidad of Valladolid (Spain).

Speakers will include the General of the Carabinieri Biodiversity Group of Rome, the Director of Agriculture and Rural Development, Forestry and Agro-environment of the Tuscany Region, the Mayor of Reggello, The Abbot of the Abbey.

The Day of the Fascination of Plants and the 30th Anniversary of the LIFE Programme will be celebrated at the same time.

The morning is open to all participants.
