Curriculum Vitae

TM. Sc. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at University of Bari, I, then, obtained a Master in Bioinformatics techniques and molecular epidemiology applied to infectious diseases, and, finally, a PhD in Biosciences and Territory at University of Molise.
I mix dry lab activities, RNA-, smallRNA- and degradome-seq data analysis, with wet lab activities such as PCR, RealTime-PCR and 5’/3’RACE.
During my experiences at CREA-VE and IPSP-CNR, I worked on human samples, grape and Arundo donax, analyzing the differential expression under abiotic stresses.
Currently, I use bioinformatics analysis to identify geminiviruses infecting vegetables in the Mediterranean area as part of GeMed project.
