Curriculum Vitae

Graduated in Environmental Monitoring and Remediation (LM-75) from Sapienza University of Rome and previously in Sciences and Technologies for Nature and the Environment (L-32) from Federico II University of Naples, she has been enrolled in the PhD program in Environmental Biology (XXXVII cycle) at Sapienza University in association with the CNR-IPSP since January 2022, which will conclude in December 2024. During this period, she has gained professional skills and expertise in molecular biology, such as cloning, extraction, and analysis of plant DNA and RNA, as well as related techniques, and in vitro culture of plant material. She has also acquired experience in bioinformatics, particularly in RNA-SEQ data analysis and gene expression studies.
From 2019 to 2021, she worked as a research fellow at the CNR-IPSP in Portici as part of the URCoFI project (“Regional Coordination Unit for the strengthening of activities in phytosanitary surveillance, research, experimentation, monitoring, and training”) funded by the Campania Region, focusing on monitoring and research in the field of biological control of invasive phytophagous species.
She is currently a research fellow at the CNR-IPSP within the same project (URCoFI), with a focus on molecular diagnostics for the early detection of phytosanitary pathogens of significance, such as Xylella fastidiosa (the causal agent of the Olive Quick Decline Syndrome) and phytoplasmas responsible for flavescence dorée.
