Curriculum Vitae

I graduated in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Turin in 2025. For the writing of my master’s thesis, I studied the application of RNAi for the control of Scaphoideus titanus, a vector of Grapevine flavescence dorée phytoplasma. This project involved insect breeding, the selection of potential target genes to be silenced, the synthesis and microinjection of dsRNA molecules. Finally, gene silencing was verified by RT-qPCR. I gained additional laboratory experience through curricular internships: the first as part of a research project aimed at the determination viral titres in Apis mellifera, and the second in a biostimulant company evaluating the efficacy of new prototypes through experimental tests in greenhouses and growth chambers, followed by chemical, physiological and molecular analyses of plant samples.
Since June 2025, I have been involved in the MICOTI research project, funded by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture.
