Michelina Ruocco

Dr. Michelina Ruocco had her Academic and post-doc studies at Università degli studi di Napoli “Federico II”. Since 2001 she is research scientist at Institute for Sustenible Plant Protection (CNR-IPP). In 2003 she was guest researcher at University of Wageningen (The Nederland) Institute of Phytopathology. Currently is leader of the group: biocontrol of plant pathogens. Her activities are focused on the study of the molecular biology of the interactions between Trichoderma, phytopathogenic fungi and plants. She has consolidated experience in developing strategic approaches in control and management of plant disease and in analysing plant-microbe interactions with the main goal of building up innovative approaches for sustainable crop protection. Michelina Ruocco has been referee for international journals dealing with crop-protection, molecular biology and biotecnology issues. Supervisor of ENDURE INCO country grant. She is author of many papers and book chapters on national and international jurnal.
