Curriculum Vitae

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomolecular and Industrial Biotechnology (2017–2021), with a thesis focused on the recovery and valorization of coffee waste.

Subsequently, I obtained my Master’s degree in Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology (2021–2023) at the University of Naples Federico II, with a thesis entitled: “An alternative exploitation of Synechocystis sp. PCC6803: a cascade approach for the recovery of high-value-added products.

After graduation, I worked as a Research Assistant at Malmö University, Sweden, where I was involved in a project focused on the use of microalgae for protein extraction aimed at the formulation of plant-based dairy products.

I am currently a PhD student in Biotechnology at the University of Naples Federico II. My research project, entitled “Microalgae as an alternative solution for modern agriculture”, focuses on the use of different microalgal strains to optimize growth on wastewaters and the subsequent extraction of molecules to be tested for their potential biostimulant, biopesticide, and biofertilizer activity on crops.
