Curriculum Vitae

Experience in cytology, physiology and ultrastructure of plants and nematodes; analysis of cytological changes induced in plants by biotic and abiotic stresses; culturing nematodes and plants under axenic conditions; studies of biology and behaviour of endoparasitic nematodes in the plant interactions: biochemistry, physiology, and molecular biology of enzymes involved in the oxidative burst; cytochemical and immunocytochemical studies both ROS and enzymes involved in the resistant response in plant-nematode interaction; cytochemical and immunocytochemical studies of reorganization of cytoskeleton elements (actin, tubulin) during compatible response in plant-nematode interaction; analyse the phenotype and cytological changes of cells in uninfected roots following injection of cyst and root-knot nematode oesophageal secretions, respectively; localization of specific gene expression in plant-nematode interaction by in situ hybridation. Plant responses to biotic and abiotic stresses.
