The activities planned will focus on field surveys and laboratory analyses aimed at entomological monitoring, the collection of infested or suspected plant material, and the geolocation of monitored sites. Laboratory activities will include sample assessment and processing, the rearing of emerged insects, and the study of the biological cycles of phytophagous insects and their associated natural enemies.
In addition, the activities will involve the preparation and morphological, biological, and molecular characterization of insects, as well as the management of data within the regional information systems S.I.M.Fito and S.I.M.Fitolab.
